It may not matter as my tail pipes are custom. If anyone has pics even with the cut out bumpers of them installed, that would be great. I have 18" long tips that need modifications to not stick out, hillbilly too far.

I've never had luck with searches on this site, and I will admit to user error but there was a thread on this about a year or so ago. Pictures and all.

Thanks, my tail pipes are in a few good inches toward the frame compared to the factory cut outs. They will look good as my pipes exit slightly lower, so they should look right.

Yes. Mine go straight back from the frame and exit at those points, where the factory angles the pipe. Just having the hillbilly tips on mine made the car quieter, exhaust exiting outside of the car.

Post a shot of yours. Go to that thing above that looks like a picture of mountains. Sorry if you knew that already, I just learned it a month ago.

What, pray tell, are "hillbilly tips"?

Tips that stick out way too far, I would cut.where the tail pipes are attached to the welded hangers. So for $60 worth of hangers and the effort to cut off the old ones, the factory style tips are a no brainier.

I had to modify the hanger at the end of the tailpipe to get the tip to sit up tighter to the bumper. I’m not a fan of the factory spacing between the bumper and the tips.

They both exit just inside from the lights.
