I know you're looking for something more local but there's a Willow Gold 68 Cutlass S post project that was recently on Facebook in the San Diego CA area. The owner didn't list it, someone else was looking for opinions and posted pics of it. It was apparently rust free but the owner wanted $5500 for it and it needed a complete restoration. It was on the OCA page on FB and if you want to try to find it the person that asked about it was Joe Nunyabiz (an alias, I assume). He looked at it and offered $3500 but the seller wouldn't take less than $4500 and said he was going to list it on CL for $7000. Here in the northeast it's easily a $6000 car.

Currently on Reno, Nevada craigslist is a 68 post cutlass listed in Cars for sale. Post # 6485289008. No motor or tranny with a price of $7,500.00. I am guessing you have seen the 1970 Cutlass post on Connecticut Craigslist as it has been on there for awhile.

X2-marxjunk, maybe 3K if the Wisconsin frame is not rotted, I can assume the rocker panels and around the front and rear windows need new metal. The floor and trunk pan ?? Been there done that...

how much are looking to spend, I have one that I have spent a fair bit on but in my eyes I plan on doing more too but have very little time to do so. Let me know your budget and I will tell you if we are close on price. Autowire complete harness from headlight to taillight, Richmond 5 speed, (originally a m21 car, 3.91 gears). Much more!!

So you bought those Berejik doors! I was wondering what happened to them. They weren't cheap!

Berijik doors

I paid 300 each, I drove from Toronto to Boston outskirts, talked him down. These doors are mint, took them in to a restoration shop up here and they said they don't require more than 5 hours labour.

Did he have any idea where the car went that they were attached to?

The car has split up as it was used as a drag car and had a role cage. According to what he told me he bought the doors at an auction and all the other parts were there, hood, fenders, doors, seats, etc. But no shell or engine/trans. He said Mass has a law that states titles for race cars can not be changed to be used on streets.

Too bad. I'm sure if it had a VIN it could have been titled in another state
