I don't know about being used on Chevy's but probably on a number of GM products. According to my referance book "Good Old Days, Oldsmobile 1964 thru 1972 A bodies" 1100693 was used on 67 Oldsmobile A bodies with no specific application. It came off my 66 Cutlass 330 CI. It was working fine when I took it off. I had found a nicer looking restoration.

1100705 37 Amp
1100767 42 AMP
1100730 42 AMP
1100733 55 AMP AC with PS
1100686 55 AMP AC with out PS
No mention of 442 so I have to assume it has more to do with equipment. I have to assume you have the same assembly manual I do so which is Cutlass/442. I couldn't fin a referance for the part number in my 66 CSM.Hope this helps.

The 1100693 is a 1966-67 37 amp Chevrolet application.
To clarify the above mentioned numbers;
1100705 37amp is 1966 w/air pump which is OAI
1100767 37amp is 1966 without
1100744 37amp with power steering
1100733 55amp without AC or P.S.
1100730 55amp with AC or P.S
1100752 55 amp with AC and P.S
42 amp alternators were used on full size Olds only.
Hope this helps.
