Wait, I have dibs on the hood, and 1st call for the rear deck lid too.
But I don't need the spoiler, save that for someone with a Supreme or a vert.

Put me down for the 70 only Oldsmobile trunk lid emblem. Is it a nice used, restored or was it an NOS one?

Trunk lid emblem question

Curious about the trunk lid emblem. This car has an Oldsmobile emblem. Is that because it is an F-85? My Cutlass based W-31 has a Cutlass emblem.

Thanks

Trunk lid "OLDSMOBILE" emblem is F85 only.

One of 54 post auto W-31's
( - -) paint in Toronado only Ming Jade.

Neat car. Was this the car down south for sale a few years back that was potentially a brass hat car, but needed restoration? Seems odd to see an F85 with the vinyl top and wing while it has poverty caps.

Was it just the F85's that had the rubber mat flooring instead of carpet?

Options

Am I the only one surprised to see the optional wood grain dash appliqué?

My Cutlass S based W-31 does not have that option.

This F-85 was oddly optioned.

Is it known where the car originally sold?

Dave

The woodgrain is odd for an F85. There is another members F85 w-31 on here(Sherwood green) that also has it.

Oddities for this F85
(1) Woodgrain Dash
(2) (- -) color
(3) vinyl top
(4) Lighted rear view Mirror

Does your W car have the full interior light package? My understanding is the lower woodgrain was part of a package that inc. the full interior light package.

Sold where

There is a fellow on Facebook who thinks he knows the history of this F-85.

Where was it sold new?

My car does not have the courtesy light package.

Grabbed this from w-machine registry. I wonder if this is the same car? Beautiful color combo. Is that Ming Jade?

Great Job on the restoration. So glad it was saved and not parted out. Are there any pictures showing the restoration process of this car?
