Dick Miller DMR-68 headers

Has anyone installed the DMR-68 headers. I have a 1971 442 with a 455,I tried a set of Dougs but they didn't fit good at all, another member had the same problem with the Dougs brand. I would like to know if the DMR-68 headers fit before I buy them or if anyone has a recommendation it would be much appreciated.

This is a couple years old. I'd call them to make sure but I've got to believe they've fixed the problem by now:

My Doug's didn't fit either, sent them back they have been there for 2 weeks and I still haven't heard anything. Looks like $700+ down the drain

Please let me know. I just got of the phone with Doug's, it's bad design I am not the first person to send them back. I am getting a refund I guess ARH is my next stop.

Just received the ARH headers today they are 2 inch 3 1/2 collector. I will be trial installing them in tomorrow.I will let you guys know how the fit. I'm looking for frame clearence and crossmember alinement. I'm installing a T56 also so if the crossmember alinement is good I will work with the factory member. They welded 02 sensor bungs in the collector for future FI installation. I'llget some pics also.

Ok looks like the left side header fits good, it may need dimpling slightly in one spot, only problem is there is very limited space for the starter, any starter recommendations would be much appreciated. Tha starter I have is a MSD mini starter there is not enough room to fit it in. Hopefully the right side goes in without a problem. Looks like I will be selling a new MSD starter.
