1969 cutlass air intake

Hi everyone,

Do you know where I can get an air intake kit for a 1969 Cutlass (350 V8).

Regards

Bernard

What's that?
Is that like a K&N filter or remote filter like rice rockets use?

Well, it's between a plain air filter and an actual ram air system.

It generally has "tubes" that come from behind the car's grille
in order to bring more fresh air to the carb

If you are looking for something like this, go to spectraperformance.com.

They make a kit like this for a Chevelle that can probably be adapted to a Cutlass. Personally, I'd just get (or make) a repro O.A.I. air cleaner and under bumper scoops for a 69. Most of the Olds repro houses sell them now.

Thanks Joe,

I think I'm gonna make my own under bumper scoops, etc as you are suggesting.
