A/C bracket needed

I goofed up about a year ago. I sold the original bracket to my W-30 not thinking about the date code. It is a little silly being worried about a date code on an A/C bracket but if i can find the correct one for a good price I will get one. It is the lower cast iron bracket with 398682 on it, the one that bolts to the front side of the head. It must have a date of 250 to 300 on it, 285 would be perfect. I can buy one or trade something for one.

Just checking if you found a bracket yet, if not I will ask my friend to look for one with the proper date.

AC bracket swap?

I've got a bracket set at the shop for my '72 convertible project. Since my car is far from a numbers matching build, I'll take a look at the casting number for you. If it'll work for you perhaps we can just trade parts so you'll have all the right numbers and I'll still have an AC bracket. Stay tuned!

W-30 A/C bracket.

I think I found you one...
398682 D10 Y, casting date 123.
Early May? I have not seen one
with the Large Y and the little dot
in the branch.

Eric, these are the last two I
have that may work for you.
The 1st pic is the 398682 D6
with a 126 casting.

The purdy one is on my 69 455
that I built for my 442 project.
398682 D2 with a 157 cast date.

Let me know, and pm returned,Adam.

AC bracket no go!

Hey Jensen:
I checked the 2 AC brackets I have in my shop. Unfortunately they have casting dates of 75 and 104; too far outside your date range. I would have gladly made a trade with you if I could have helped you with the correct number. Good luck with your search.
Rodney.

That 262 would be just fine. What do you want for it or do you need any parts? shipping would be to 47834.
Thanks

Thanks
Considering you're a good friend of Scotts let me get a calculator to come up with a 'Fair' price...

Anything else you might need? and what would you be willing to trade for this. Which reminds me I need to get a hold of Scott on some other stuff. Perhaps we can make a big bundle? Brett
