hey, yes it does have the exaust coming out on the sides ,ive been looking for 27 years for one i could aford, and finally found one in oklahoma ,i am in maine. it cost me 200.00 dollors more to get the car transported here ,than the car actaully cost,i had one when i was a kid ,and all i remember was beating every car i ever raced , i know it is a boat ,but alot of sentimental memoriesfor me, and thanks for the reply. bill.
just wondering because i dont know about any other olds fans but ive seen some 65 s without the exhaust and that to me takes away the whole line and perception of the car if u know what i mean..... ive only seen maybe 2 or three others and never another with my own eyes..... i am only 20 lol anyways i posted some pix of mine on the for sale section if u want to take a look
Bill, as for the back window, you might have luck finding the stainless pieces for the back window from someone parting a 65 or 66 Pontiac Grand Prix...its the same window and trim. Same goes for the front window, which was also shared with many fullsize Olds, Pontiac and Buick B-body coupes (and maybe also sedans?). You might also look into people who restore stainless trim, though that can get expensive quick. I have a '65 Jetstar I (very similar to the Starfire) and found what generic trim I could from other cars, and the rest (wheel well trim for example which was unique) I had restored. Check the forums at performaceyears.com and post a want-ad...you might find what you need that way (worked for be a few years back).
Good luck!

hey thanks for the info on the stainless for my car , actually it is the sheet metal under the windshield along the bottom that i need , and that piece of the dash closest to the winshield itself, it almost looks like it is where the winshields sits, thanks to all for any help, bill.
Sorry for the confusion, aanyway the interchanges I mentioned should still apply! Sorry also I can't point you in the right direction...it may cost a lot to have large pieces shipped, so you may need to find something fairly local. Hope you have some yards in Maine that specialize in vintage cars.
