Do the fenders have the crinkle zones on the top edge just under the hood like GM made to ease crash safety? The 71's did not have them. Also, They are new Fenders for that kind of money, right?

Yes has the crinkle zones and are NOS still have the original packaging.

The '71 & '72 fenders did have the crinkle zones, the '70 fenders did not.
