70-72 Cutlass/442 black lower dash section ***Update now includes a lot more parts***

*********SOLD*********
I have a complete lower dash assembly with glove box door, ash tray door, gauge bezel, and wood grain. The wood grain is correct for 1971. The wood was removed from the dash for painting so it would need to be glued back on. It is still attached to the glove box lid and gauge bezel. The dash was cleaned and painted with SEM landau black and the chrome trim was redone with a Molotow paint pen. It may be hard to see in the pictures but the chrome is very shiny compared to other paint pens. I did not refinish the gauge bezel but they are available after market. All mounting tabs and radio area are in tact an uncut. I think they may have modified the holes for the ***** slightly to fit an after market radio. Also there is on small crack near where the clock would mount. You can see it in the last picture near the bottom right under the mounting post. It will not effect mounting and will not be seen when installed. Price is $250 plus shipping.

Rather then lower the price I’ve decided to add some parts. Now included for the same price. All in original unrestored condition. Instrument cluster with dummy lights, column shift speedo and non working clock. Left, right, and center AC vents. Headlight switch with bezel and bulb holder, windshield wiper switch and bezel, and courtesy light assembly. Glovebox Cutlass Supreme emblem, lock assembled with **** and retaining nut, and hinge with bracket. Cigarette lighter housing, ashtray and various ground straps.

Hello, I am just getting ready to restore my dash, yours looks so good! May I ask a few questions. The Molotow pen, how many millimeters was the tip? Also, that black paint looks like new, any tips on painting the dash?

I used the 4mm tip pen. As for the paint I recommend several light coats that will build up. If you spray the SEM paint too thick it will run. Good luck.
