From the Cutlass script emblem, lower Oldsmobile trim, and rounded front corners, it appears to be an original 4 door deck lid. I am not sure what year, though. As you said will work on a convertible but the trim won't be correct.

No matter, it looks to be in great condition and will make someone very happy.

Thanks Fun71

I drove from minneapolis to witchita to pick this trunk lid up. That was before repro deck lids were available. I would rather have an OEM factory original part than a chinese one. I am only trying to get back what i spent to get this part home to minnesota. I really do not want to ship this item. I will take less than asking price from a buyer who pays cash and picks it up here

Thanks 70
There is not a bus depot near here. I did get info from fastenal for sleeton. I have not heard back what he found out as far a shipping quote.

trunk lid

I got a quote of about $100 but I did not know the weight would be 150 lbs and I did not know it had to be on a pallet

Greyhound appears to be about $100 for those dimensions on an item that weighs 100lbs

If fastenal is used for shipping, part must be on a pallet and fully crated or they will not insure it, FYI.

My guess at least 150lbs. Pallet , the trunk lid , 2 sheets 1/2 inch ply wood and 2x lumber

I would much rather have some one pick the deck lid up here than ship it.
Have a Great day

They do not have a depot close to my home. There are UPS + FEDEX as well as fastenal. A few years ago I took a 71 bumper into local post office. WoW they did not like that. Estimate was over $300
