restoring hardware

is there anyway to restore hardware?

are you talking bolts and little brackets? if so, there are places that can re plate them with zinc or whatever they were originally. i will be looking for a place to have some done myself. a guy i know finds the best bolts he can and puts them in a tumbler to clean them first.

Find an industrial plater in your area. These were all greasy nasty rusty bolts off my car.
