Replacing the windshield

I need a new windshield for my 1970 Vista Cruiser. On a whim I checked safelite and they said that they carry the windshield with the antenna and can install it. Has anyone else gone this route?

I have had a local glass company come & install new windshields in 2 of my cars with no problems. Usually they will even remove the old one but I like to do it myself to make sure it's cleaned up well.

Lots of people have a glass company come out and do it.

Since your stainless trim fit is dependent on the windshield height, ask that the ht. of the old w/s is marked so the new glass is at the same ht..Also, tell the installer to use care with the urethane caulk, so it doesn't show along the bottom..
