New to me 66 Toronado

I stumbled onto this site looking for some troubleshooting information for a 66 Toronado. From what i have seen so far, I definitely seem to be in the right place for help. Lots of very knowledgeable members here, and everyone seems very willing to help out others. I am a definite Olds newbie, and am not the most experienced auto repair guy in the world, but I am willing to give things a shot most of the time.

I am hoping that I will learn enough to do more than just ask questions here, but actually be able to help people out too. In the meantime, I just wanted to say hi.

1966 Toronado Deluxe, 31,000 miles
A previous owner made several modifications to the stock version of the car, including the "knock off" hub caps, sequential turning signal lights, and the addition of the rear marker lamps (not sure what year they first appeared).

Thank you. I have always thought that considering the era in which it was made, the 66 is quite a stunning design.

I will try to take some additional pictures, including the engine compartment sometime soon. The engine is not quite as clean as the outside, but I think it can be detailed out pretty easily.

Don't you mean "front end ratio?"

Love it. I believe the rear marker lamps were from 68-69

Welcome to CO! Nice looking Toronado. I belong to the Riviera Owners Association and we had our national meet this June in Lexington, Kentucky. The Toronado Owners Association joined us as well. Might want to check them out and join there organization, lots of knowledgeable people over there too.

Welcome to the forum, love the first gen Toros. Never saw the spinner hubcaps before, were they original?
