New Guy w/ 68 442 455 + 4spd
Hello All. My name is Ethan. I joined this forum because I just bought a sweet 1968 Olds 442. The car is missing a few trim pieces and the original engine. It did come with the original 4spd muncie. I didnt get a chance to determine if it was a close or wide ratio. I was so anxious to get the car I completely forgot to look at the trans. I did see it and all of the necessary parts were there. I also got 2 truckloads of parts to go with it. When I get things sorted I will find out what I truly have. I also got a ton of information/history of the car.
I am looking forward to doing a resto mod or maybe a restoration on this jewel. I've read the forum many times while I was in the buying process. I have posted some pics of the 442 and my other two cars. The black one is a 1970 Nova w/ 454. The yellow one is my High School car that I am currently turning into a pro-street/weekend racer. It is a 1975 Nova w/ a 6-71 on top of a 355 sbc. Thanks for looking and have a nice day.

Im excited about this build. I built the black nova on a very meager budget. I've already convinced the wife to allow me to spend way more on the olds. I justified it as the car we would take to shows with the kids. She hates getting the kids into the black nova so much she actually approved it! LOL
