Newbie needs help decoding cowl plate

Newbie needs help decoding cowl plate

I took a picture of the cowl plate on the car I just picked up (see other thread).

Can someone help me decode this?

Wow yours was made the same week as mine! My Fisher unit # 511856 also a 1st week of June car

72 = 1972
34267 = Olds Cutlass Supreme Convertible
LAN = Lansing, Mich Fisher Body Plant
511766 = Fisher Body Unit Number
979 = Saddle in color themed interior
57 = Baroque Gold Lower body Color
T = Covert Beige Vinyl Top
06A = 1st week of June 1972 begin assembly week (Fairly late in production year)
A65 = Notch Back Strato Bench Seat with armrest

Hey thanks for quick response on this - pretty cool that the cars are cousins.

BTW - where did u get the info to decode this?

Yep and it looks like someone painted it "re-sale" red at some point in time.
