CCR Distributor

So my question is. Do I have to buy a specific distributor my 455? For the counterclockwise rotation?

455 Oldsmobile distributors all operate with the rotor turning in CCW direction.

To clarify all Oldsmobile later v8 engines distributors turn CCR and are interchangeable between SBO and BBO.

To further clarify, all 1964-1990 Olds second gen V8 distributors interchange. If you are looking a a Chevy aftermarket distributor, no it will not work in an Olds motor.
