Making progress
i took some time off working on my project to drop my old 350 and th350 in my cousins cutlass. Worked on it all day from dropping it in to bolting everything up to running to the parts store probably 50 times (for missing bolts and etc) thinking we were going to get it running that same day. LOL. Simply put he has electrical problems. The battery sparks when we touch the positive terminal. We made sure the starter wires were on right but still sparks. The car had rats under the dash so I'm sure thats where the problem stems from. But on another note i got back to my lil project and haven't shared pictures in a while. So being the kind sharing individual that i am i present to you my progress!

Okay so as you can see A/C is not in my near future. I had to get the tall valve covers being that i have roller rockers. And when installing them the motor rocked back and knocked a good size hole in my heater core sooooo. I'll be pulling the motor some time after i break it in to repair that and hopefully put my compressor and ac lines on. I'm taking my transmission core this weekend to get it built and will being getting it back at the end of the month. I've still got a couple other little things to complete but my exhaust and fuel lines are the last big things to starting this thing up.
I had two questions i was hoping some one could help me with though. the pic above shows the lack of clearance for an air cleaner, so what is the lowest profile air cleaner or snorkle i could use?
And i'm ready to drop my distibutor in now but i won't be ready to start the motor for probably another month. If i prime the oil pump now and drop the dist. in would i need to prime it again when i get around to starting it?

Thanks, the throttle bracket is from CSR. I don't have it yet but the return spring actually goes underneith this one instead at the front of the linkage. And if you look close enough you'll see i have holders for my wire separators in place of my valve cover bolts. I'm trying to keep things as clean and professional looking as possible.
