Ya, I think that's about right, 185-miles one way. I believe Greg lives near Baldwin, and that's about how far it is to St. Ignace, just the other side of the Strait.

The engine pic looks like it has #8 heads which are later year(s).
EDIT: I zoomed in closer and does appear as #6. Sorry to add any confusion.
