I have a 1969 Oldsmobile 350 that I am converting to roller cam and I’m in search of a cam thrust plate. Was told I might find someone who makes replacement ones.

The hardtop doors and lower quarters will easily work on a convertible. Obviously the sail panel areas of the rear quarter aren’t on a convertible..

There's no need to use a GM Type 1 scanner. You can pull codes from those cars with a paperclip. The computer is pretty primitive.
If the OP doesn't want to buy a $200; scanner he can always get...

Are the rocker arm bolts actually loosening or is something else happening that is allowing the pushrods to get loose ? When you check them can you actually turn the bolts and tighten them more ? ...
