post doors 64-65

Except for the holes for the side mouldings, are 64-65 F-85 2 door post doors the same?

I think you nailed it.
I have a 64 door on my pass side, only way I could tell was because there were no ACCESS holes on the INSIDE of the door for the lower trim, and because the upper plastic trim retainers, were secured by rivets added on by a body shop. This happened far long before I got it.
And those are not quite straight. 65 trim rivets have a far superior head that seems to be at one with the door.

From the outside, you can not see the difference...other than the drooping upper trim.

Fill the unused holes for the trim you will not use, and you should be home free.

NO, I will not trade out the doors, now!

I think so two. My doors are rough down where the skin meets the inner structure.-RUST- They can be fixed with a patch panels at a price, but I have located two 65 post doors that are supposed to be rust free, waiting for pictures. That may be the direction I go. Thanks

Here is a local F85 for sale, this would need less filling () for the trim.
Doors do not seem to have any rust issues.
He has a LOT of pictures, take a peek.
He is selling the whole enchilada.
I'm not looking to part one out really, but I think it is a parts car, anyway.
If there was enough call for the parts from this thing, I may go ahead.

I wish I would have found this last year!!!
