The addiction continous
My nova hasnt been working out for me and the money ive been spending on it got out of hand. I went to look at a nice 82 chevy step side with a 6.2 diesel to replace it, it ended up having a broken block, and i saw they had an el camino. When i was looking for my first car the only thing i would consider was a 72 chevelle or el camino, well it happened to be a 72 with an olds 350 in it. Being an olds guy now i had to have it, i know its a chevy but being powered by olds I figured I would still fit in here.

It's a junk yard motor all I know is the valve cover says it came out of a 78 delta, it has a 6a head and a 3a head, the block numbers came out to a late 350, it has duals and enough power to do a stand still smoke show. I couldn't help but to leave a black mark on the street

Is it suppoesed to be angled? I thought it might be bent, its kinda loose too. my first two cars were 455 powered so after driving the 4 cylinder for a while i started to have v8 withdrawals. I want the underhood to look like a 72 small block cutlass, I may start a build thread for it but im going to need your guy's help to make it look factory.

The angle oil fill tube came on 350/455 and later with factory A/C
It has had some work done to it with the two different cyl heads. The intake has the EGR valve, better off with an aluminum intake.
Be sure to cap those air injection check valves, they burn out and you have an exhaust leak. I would take the check valve off and cap the tubes.
The 71/72 Olds front clip should fit, I'm not sure on the door body lines.
You could have put a 455 in the diesel truck as a replacement for the diesel..

I thought about a cutlass front end but that would defeat the purpose of why i like the car in the first place, I could put gmc sprint badges on it and say it was ordered with an olds 350. It still needs pressure washed but i got it cleaned up and got the floor patched and painted, it cleaned up pretty nice. The engine seems to be slightly cobbled together and I plan on making a decently healthy 350 out of it. I plan on using this to tow my cutlass to the track.
