Mondello
I've been reading the different opinions on Modellos and wanted to get a current gut check. I'm going to be ordering a new cam for my 69 toro 455 and I've been calling around to check prices and offerings. I checked Jegs and Modellos who both claimed that they had a cam that would give me a bit more HP without impacting drivability with power brakes. Thoughts? Mondellos also seemed to have a lot of other parts that I need like heating and cooling stuff.

Pretty much anything Mondellos sells you can get somewhere else cheaper. For example, back in the late 90's my Uncle bought some "BBO Trans am headers" for $399, they were just regular BBO Abody headers that sell for $200 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/HED-58150/
I got the headers when I bought the engine and everything from him, they still had the Hedman sticker in the package. They are now on my 64 BBO Cutlass

Mondello is a joke! Great if you want to spend twice to four times what a part is worth but realistically a joke. I looked into his cryogenical parts way back and laughed then as I'm laughing now. Mondello means nothing to me. He's an a$$hole.
