Winter project

Going to have some work done to the heads so I can use shorter push rods and get the geometry right on the rockers also new roller rockers.Everything looks good inside the motor.Right know I'm weighting on the heads to get back from the machine shop.

Did you just do a recent rebuild on your engine? It looks amazingly clean. BTW did you have to change your VCs when you go to roller rockers? Don't know if they are the same height as stock rocker arms.

I have scorpions on my 455. I had to use 3/8" spacers to run stock height valve covers. It's not the rockers, but the studs and the adjusting nuts that are the problem.

Couple tips;
Copper exhaust gaskets make it a 'last time' situation!
Measure all 4 corners with a adjustable pushrod, if the block wasn't decked - could vary by .010 or more, order pushrods accordingly.

The block was decked but that doesn't sound like a bad idea.I checked one valve and the push rod was at least 1/8inch long.
