Question Window Felts Help

Hey all, I have a 1972 cutlass that is a 2-door sport coupe - it has a post and wing window. I need to get new window felts, but have been having trouble finding the correct kit for what I need, any suggestions?

Steele Rubber sells them, but for some reason their website isn't working this morning.

Steele Rubber has an eBay Store, as well. I believe their products are also available at OPGI.

I bought mine at OPGI a few years ago. Cost a bit more than other places, but the fit was perfect with no cutting needed.

PUI - Window Felts, 70-72 Cutlass, S, 442, Coupe, 8 pieces, Original Style @ OPGI.com

Fusick is also selling them.

One vote for Steele on the quality front. There are a bunch of companies doing reproduction rubber - Metro, Soffseal, Steele and others.

At least for the big cars I have known for 40 years or so, Steele makes the best quality reproductions.

See the posts under my username comparing Steele to Metro and my latest adventure with their stuff on big cars. A body (Cutlass/442) may be different.

I have a few posts on getting rubber right. To be sure big cars are different from Cutlass/442’s, but the principles of cleaning window frames and getting seals seated and glued cross over.

Wishing you luck in replacing your seals.

Chris
