What do I have ??
I'm new to this,v I own a 1972 Cutlass HT would like to know exactly what model I have, some one told me it could be a 442 or Holiday Coupe my vin# is 3j57k2r183198 Thanks !!!

The VIN says you have a 1972 Cutlass Supreme Hardtop coupe, 350 4bbl engine w/ single exhaust, built in arlington, TX, serial # 183198.
This is all the VIN states out in 1972.
Does it have 442 badges on it? Got pictures? If so, we shall dig deeper!

Pardon my cynicism, but it's always "possibly" a 442. Just like every 327 Chevy is a "fuelie" motor, and every item on ebay is listed as "could be NOS". Sorry, but Olds NEVER built a 442 on the Supreme Hardtop body. Tell the guy that he's wrong.
