Vendor Ad's

Do many here pay attention to vender ad's. Well I do. I quite often shop online at Advance Auto parts, but had a good discount code "ES123" today. Bought $50 bucks worth of stuff for my daily car, and whole thing came to $30 bucks. Not letting free money like this go to waste, as that's 40% off.

Definitely...especially Advance Auto...they're begging people to shop on-line. My last on-line purchase was a $200 radiator for my truck. Got an instant 20% off for buying on-line and a week later got a coupon for $25 off my next on-line purchase. I usually order on-line, drive 5 mins down the road to my store and the parts are sitting on the counter waiting for me. Who wouldn't take advantage of these kinds of savings?...unless you don't own a computer in which case you're missing out on a lot more than savings from Advance Auto ! Plus you can be sure you're getting the right part when you're the one picking it out.

Since I run Firefox with adblock, i do not see them.
It is nice to know some of the ads here are useful to the automotive enthusiasts, or someone who needs a part after finding a solution to a problem here.
However, from what I hear, most of the ads are not.

if you watch closely Advance will run a special where if you buy $100 + you get a discount plus a coupon for future purchase. we bought some stuff for the shop and it added up to $93 so we bought some misc. gaskets to take it over $100. that got us 20% off and then a $30 coupon. hard to beat that.

Nope, just like Rob I blocked the ads. It was slowing down my computer. With Adblock it runs faster. I realize the vendors support the site, the choice to block them was entirely mine. I'm glad some of you are getting good deals from the ads though. They mostly don't apply to me up here in Canada.
