Is there a way to find out how many of a certain vehicle is registered in the U.S.? For example I'd like to find out how many 61 Olds F85 station wagons are still licensed. Thanks in advance. John
No such luck there.
Sad to say. We all wish it was even remotely possible.
Hey lookin on the bright side you made it to the best Oldsmobile site in the whole world.
So with that being said, welcome to the site and post pictures and ask questions if need be.

There were four different F-85 wagons in 1961. There were two-seat "Standard" and "Deluxe" and three-seat Standard and Deluxe. Original production of the four was 6,677, 10,087, 526, and 757, respectively, which means that if you have a three-seat 1961 F-85 wagon, you have a very rare car with well less than 1,000 made of either version.
The above numbers total about 11,800 for total '61 F-85 production. Figure at most 1% of these still remain today, and that would be about 120 cars. But wagons tended to be driven and used up, not treated lightly and preserved the way convertibles are. There might very well be well less than 100 '61 Olds F-85 wagons still in existence.

By the way, in 1962, the only three seat F-85 wagon was the base model. The Deluxe was only available in the two seat version. Go figure.
