Test drive

Finally got a chance to take the 72 out for a test drive after 2 1/2 years of restoration work . Things went well and it drove pretty good . Still have the old beater tires on it ,that's the next step tires and alignment . Then finally the convertible top . Weather in the northeast has improved nicely .

Thats good to hear. Bet it felt good to finally get it out.

No doubt, a set of tires and alignment will feel great.

Good for you. There's nothing in the world like driving a car like this. People don't know what they're missing.

May have a problem with the wheels and an alignment, no lip to attach the alignment head, may need to change them until after.

Greatest feeling after all the work to finally get to drive, Looks great.

those wheels on it now are actually my rollers ,i have ss2,s for the it when the time comes .plan on selling the rollers .i took a little more agressive ride yesterday and noticed a couple of pops through the exhaust while roasting the tires not sure what caused it.maybe recheck my timing today hoping its not a sticky valve
