I have 2 '69's. A 442 and Cutlass S. The 442 has its original 3 spoke (N34 I think?) and the Cutlass S has the 'standard' bakelite wheel. I think it was the mid-grade offering as I believe there was a simpler, cheaper wheel option available that year.
The 1970 N34 4-spoke option was available in most models in the A-body line, including Vista Cruisers. I think that is one of Old's nicest wheel designs and it looks good in older models too.
One that might be considered better is the standard 4-spoke wheel on the later 70s subcompact Starfire. It is 1/2 inch smaller diameter than the N34 4-spoke, which gives it a more modern look to my eye. That's the one I chose.
I would encourage you to create a parts wanted thread as many of the members here have spare parts. Yes the Starfire did have a blue wheel, but it may or may not be the same shade as your interior. John

That is a sharp looking interior. I have never seen a tach without a clock in the middle. Is that custom or just something I never knew about?
Thank you, GN. I've had that car for over 40 years--plenty of time to think about how to refine it!
That tach started life as a clock. I had an instrument maker in my city convert it to a tach with the same numerals and layout as the speedometer. The aftermarket tachs that went to 8000 or 10,000 rpm always seemed silly to put on our lower-rpm engines.
Unfortunately, the instrument maker went on to a different occupation. But I'm sure that many still exist who could do a similar job.
That’s a nice looking steering wheel, where would I find one, does it come in blue.
Thanks. As John said, they come in various colors. Mine was black, I had my painter color the center cap to match my interior and I had a shop in California sew a brown leather cover over the black rim.
Thanks again I’ve seen many sharp looking steering wheels but they are 6 hole mounts. My cruiser still has the original wheel, it’s all cracked up. Do they make conversion kits for those wheels.
All great looking wheels. I agree that the 4-spoke if one of the best looking factory steering wheels Olds made. I am running a leather/ billet wheel with a Billet Specialties horn button and twist machine paddle shifters in my 72
As most agree, you can’t go wrong with the 4- spoke wheel. Here it is in my 1977 Delta 88 pace car. It was part of the W44 pace car package. I believe 1977 was the last year for this style sport wheel. In 1978 they changed it to the 2-spoke wheel. I have that one in my 1979 Hurst and had it in my 1978 Delta 88 Holiday coupe.
I am running a factory style steering wheel on mine. It keeps the original look and feels right for the car. Interested to hear what others with a 69 VC are using and how they like it
The 67 has a wrecked 67 wheel, the 68 has the wooden one that H/Os and Corvettes came with, and the 72 has a 4 spoke sport wheel with no grain, although I have a better one for it.
Not every 72 H/O has sport wheel and rally pack, but most do, and have AC too.
