SS1 Wheel codes

Morning all. I have a set of chromies.
They are marked M48 96 LE.
Will these fit the disc brakes?
Thanks for the responses, Adam.

Adam, those codes don't ring a bell to me. Are they stamped under where the tire would go, or near the valve stem on the outside? John

John, the code is on the back side, up high on the lip.
You can see it with the tire on the rim. The M4 is tiny,
with a tiny 8 underneath those. The 96 and LE are larger.

Note that they probably made the "LY" SSI wheels for disc brakes for only about a 4 month period, from about the beginning of April 1969 to the middle or so of July 1969. To my knowledge, no one has seen an "LY" wheel with a date on it before the beginning of April 1969. They are pretty hard to come by, but there are some out there!
