My brother has 2 spinner hub caps in excellent condition. He doesn't know what year they are. They are 15 inch. Anyone know how to tell? Also, he wants to sell them. Any idea what they are worth? thanks in advance

It is a lot easier to tell with pictures and although some of us have Braille capabillities we would need to feel them

They're for a 78 Pontaic Boneyville, about ten bucks each.
I found the answer sealed in a mayonnaise jar on Funk and Wagnalls back porch.

What I meant was is there any difference between the 53,54,55, or 56 spinners. We know they are oldsmobile spinners but want to know if there is a difference between the years. If there isn't just say so.

go on ebay and look to see what they seem to match . I just dug out a old camera from the 20's from what i found .good luck

54-55 are the same. 53 Fiestas use those same caps. 56 is different. Which ones do you have, the ones with the crest on the center or the ones with the Oldsworlds on the backplate?

And for what its worth, every year from 1954 on into the mid 60s had a spinner cap option so we needed to see them in order to tell what they were.
