Six weeks of work

I went to take the Olds for a drive and found that the two front core plugs were leaking. I replaced core plugs, water pump, fan clutch, intake gaskets, thermostat and added the H.D cooling pulley set up. now I have a car that will idle in traffic without getting hot. Thanks to this forum I found that I had the wrong length water pump(5.6) on it and the H.D.pulleys I had wouldn't lineup, now with the correct parts I now have the best cooling Olds I've ever owned!. I also changed out the Holley spread bore for a Qjet and removed the 3.42 rear gearset and replaced it with a 2.73, This works good for me as I live in a rural area (one stoplight in the county)and now I can drive further with the engine in it's sweet spot. I would like to thank the forum for all the info so I could add all the correct parts.!
Marc
