How stiff?

I like Bilsteins the best. They feel very tight and controlled, but not rough, but they're not cheap.
Best price was on Amazon, believe it or not.

I like Bilsteins as well - I have them on my 72. I painted them gray for a more stock look. Were about 65 each at shock warehouse.
If they do not show up for Cutlass, they will for Chevelle.

Nothing wrong with NAPA shocks either. Installed a new set of their gas shocks on my car last fall. Good pricing and they aren't that God awful blue & yellow like Bilstein.

Really, shocks are a personal choice but as long as they do the job, I'd rather buy affordable than high priced ones. IMO buying only by brand loyalty doesn't always give the best bag for the $
