I was driving down by the canal in town this afternoon and one of my friends was with her son getting his senior pictures taken. The photographer asked if he could take a few pics. He ended up shooting for five or ten minutes. I don’t know if they’ll use any in the yearbook but he was pretty happy to take his pics with the car.
That young buck just became the coolest kid in his senior class! Let's hope they use them, and that his pics might inspire him to want his own 442 or other ballsy old American car.🤙
Well, yesterday was "wedding dress selection day" for my youngest daughter. When all of the ladies returned from the...event...I was informed that I would be taking the Nova to the wedding venue for bridal picture day. She wanted to use the Cutlass because of the "T" tops but, it is very white and the Nova is pretty damned red. The wedding chapel is white and will be in the background so the Nova won out.
Very likely not a one off. My daughter is a senior as well and she’ll get a few pics taken with this car and our 87 Mustang LX 5.0 5 speed as well
Nope, definitely not a one off. I had a very similar story happen to me in May. My buddy with his $100K 1966 427 Vette, his neighbor with a 1940 Ford roadster, and I decided to cruise out the famous Rt. 66 to a pretty park in Washington, MO. When we got there we parked our cars and got out to have a snack and shoot the crap before heading home. Up strolled a mom and daughter, and the mom asked if she could take some pictures of her daughter with one of the cars for a possible Senior picture. We all chimed in, sure! The mom then asked the daughter which car she wanted her picture with, and the daughter immediately responded, "The blue one, I think it's the prettiest." Now I'm sure she didn't even know what kind of car mine was, but she sure knew "pretty" when she saw it. Here's a couple pics of the cars in the park that day!
This is mine from many moons ago! I paid for mine so I only ordered 12 of these, along with bunch of the ones that actually went into the yearbook. Everyone wanted the car one! Imagine that.
