Don't think I'm banned but I think I might know what the problem is. I'll be back shortly.

Bingo,I found the problem. My computer crashed for a couple of days and my computer guy saved my bookmarks when he wiped the hard drive but for some reason when he imported them back, the old ROP address was installed,go figure. Thanks for the help.

I have tried to join ROP many times, I gave up. I am tied with a few other sites, but spend most of my on "line time"right here.

They all want to be too palsy walsy like we been neighbors for 20 years and then some stranger comes on there and begs for money because of family hard times and they all jump on the "give band wagon" because they have never been scammed before, when 3 threads ago most didn't have enough money to buy used head gaskets!

Like this place is different? I got enough $$$$ to buy a tractor trailer load of head gaskets and I'm a member there. Just like when somebody there bashes CO,I take up for CO & I'm doing the same for ROP. You have made your feelings known about ROP and the 'give band wagon' and I think it's great when people help people. Sure is funny it's on your do not visit sites but you know a lot about it,figures.

Having a hard time interpreting this. People are passing on buying used head gaskets so they can give money to people in need, and you're labeling them as bad?

I really don't care either but to act like ROP is a constant charity machine is wrong-period. I took up money for a member who passed away for the family to use as they saw fit. The members there are as smart as members here,so for somebody to get over on them would be hard to do. This thread was started to ask if anybody was having trouble connecting like I was,not a bash ROP thread. Take your attitude elsewhere.

Ah, yes I should have seen a supporter of a cause is usually a user of the said cause like gays, smokers, skateboarders ETC.
To make my stay here as pleasant as possible I will put you on the "blocked user list as I have a couple of others that like to try and bait me into showing they are inferior. AS always enjoy your stay here at (insert asylum of your choice) and good day brotha.

I don't care for ROP . Too much bs. Not that there isn't any here. I'm probably half the issue . I kinda miss when I wasn't on any forums . I have gained a wealth of knowledge here. Transmissions , differentials. Learned to do that with help from members here. Some engine stuff I got help with but when it comes to hp there is too much nut tugging . I like yellowbullet. Surprisingly mellow on the tech sections. Might not be olds specific but you get some great info from hardcore racers.

I have never registered on the yellowbullet I have nothing to offer them, their tow vehicles are faster than my junk, when I need to know something I look on there or the team Chevelle site.

A few weekends ago I was at the dragstrip and pitted between 2 grudge racers and members from yellowbullet . They had some serious race cars . Even though I'm there with my little 355 olds that is closing in on cracking 12's they chimed in and gave me suggestions and helpful tips. They didn't care how slow I was they wanted to help me get there.

That's pretty cool.
That's the spirit I wish everyone had.
For me racing's not about time slips- it's about pushing yourself and your car ahead.
Anyone willing to help you do that is a true car guy.
