What I see is someone who cannot write an ad that can be comprehended by a normal person. The "mid engine" part is apparently he (or someone) is building some type of custom car using a Toro drive and BBO. I don't get that the car in question is a 442 or even a GM product from the ad.

I haven't priced tri-power stuff lately, but, a few years ago, $4,200.
bought you a a completely and correctly restored set-up.
I sold a nicer set-up than that a while back for $2,300.
I currently have a correct restored one that I'd give serious consideration
to a $4,200. offer if I were to sell it.

I guess you can ask what ever price you want.... getting some one to pay it, now that's something else....

The first Tri-power setup I purchased in the early 80's and only paid $125.00 which included a W30 air cleaner (Yes $125.00).... the second was $850, the third was $1200.... The fourth and last setup I purchased was $650 but it had 427 Holley carbs with adapter plates....
