Looking for Help for a chrome trim issue.

Does anyone know the company that straightens out chrome trim. They remove dents and damage and re chrome trim. Saw them a while back on one of the TV restore shows. Thanks

I'm thinking you might be referring to stainless trim, and not chrome trim. I found a stainless repair man about 20 miles from where I live. Around here, it's kind of "word of mouth" as to where these people are and how good their work is. Some chrome shops will also repair stainless trim. But Stevengerard is right - it is expensive!

The fender ridge trim (stainless) on the '68 pictured is also flash-chromed. If that's what you are having repaired, be careful they don't polish right through the chrome (that's what happened to me!) or it will have to be re-done (unless they take it all off and you leave it as polished stainless).

Yeah I just actually need the small Roof rail trim/Drip Rail part that goes back over the rear small window done. Its a small section. And yeah its most likely stainless trim.

I had some stainless done by a place call "3D Dell metal polishing".I think it was in Michigan.Don't know the #.They did great work at a good price.I sent them 2 pieces of trim for my vinyl top.One had a real bad dent in it.When I got them back I couldn't tell which was the dented one.

I have actually done a lot of the stainless on my car myself, just takes patience, lots of time and a buffing wheel to get the final "pop"

The roof rail trim is tough to R&R, and easily damaged. Shoot a PM to 70post, I think he has a removal method..PM me for a stainless guy in Texas who does outstanding work.

Stan 65 cutlass- they don't make it for the 69! Also the Polishing is not something I need help with. It just this trim part was banged up by some numnut with a hammer trying to repair it on the car and did more damage. Thanks everyone for the help. I will try and locate some of the ones you listed.
