help with decoding a 71 442 and options

This is my first time on this site. I am looking at a 71 442 convertible. It is a 344 on the vin and matches the motor (last part of motor stamp matches vin).
It has the ram air hood (steel) and correct ram air induction on top of the carb, was this an option and should it show up on the cowl tag. It has what looks to be factory ac., should that show up on the cowl tag? It has what looks to be factory air shocks (bumper is made for it) would that show up on the cowl tag? It also has a different bumper than most i see, it has a pair of vertical bumper gaurds - have only seen this on a few pics - how ever I did see it on a very high end restored 71.
The only item I can't find what it means on the cowl tag is - on the line below the interior / exterior color shows 03E?

Any help would be great - thanks Greg

03E is the build date, March-5th week. The hood should be fiberglass with steel reinforcing, none of those options will be on the cowl tag.

Welcome. As noted, there is precious little info in the VIN and cowl tag on these cars. All rear bumpers of this vintage came with the provision for mounting the air shock fill valve, as this was a factory option. Yours may be original or they tmey have been added. You can't really tell. The bumper guards were also a factory available option.

By the way, "ram air" is a Pontiac term. Olds called it Outside Air Induction (O.A.I.). While O.A.I. was included with the W-30 package, it was also available on other Cutlii under RPO W-25. This included the hood and air cleaner adapter.
