Hello To All

I'm new to the site and am enjoying reading the questions and answers and comments of all the members. I have a '68 442 convertible that my dad bought in February 1969 when I was a senior in high school (we have the original shipping order that lists all the ordered options). It is completely restored and very close to "numbers correct" (I'm pretty much an "all factory original stock" person). I also have a 1969 442 convertible that is about half way through its "numbers correct" restoration. Both are white with the black convertible top and black interior. The '68 is somewhat unusual in that it has a factory special order bench seat with the auto trans on the column. Thus far, I haven't seen another '68 442 convertible with a factory order bench seat - I'm sure there are some out there, but it is probably far more the exception than the rule. I'll post pictures as soon as I gain that authorization. As well, I have a '70 plain jane GTO and a '71 base engine Corvette coupe. Yes, they aren't Oldsmobiles, but at least I kept it in the GM family! I'm hoping to be an asset to this site. From what I've read, there are a lot of Olds-smart people out there and I also intend to reap the benefits of your knowledge as well! Best Regards To All, Randy Corrigan, Olympia, WA

Welcome. Get rid of the Corvette and I may let the goat slide, (I have a GTO too).

Hi Dan, Yes, you did! I'm fumbling my way around the web site and only recently figured out how to post pictures. It'll take awhile but I'll eventually come up to speed. Thank you for your welcome!
Best Regards,
Randy C., Olympia WA
