Heater control valve

Ok family i know yall going to have alot to say negativly but just know that i lost my job still side jobbing it though and all tgat money is for the household . That being said i got the cutlass about ready to hit the road to test out and tweek ahat needs to be done . Still no heater valve they are at the moment out of my price range . I have this one laying in the garage from my brother in laws caprice build is there any way i can plug off one of the ports and uae it ?

I noticed an identical thread, somehow we ended up with two so I deleted one of them as superflous. Yed I think that you could do that with a plumbing plug of some kind that wold fit the extra hose, maybe a look at the local big box store would present one for you.
