headers?

headers?

i am currently restoring a 72 cutlass supreme, should i put headers on it? if i do will it make it louder inside? will it interfere with the plug wires?

Thats more a personal taste question. I have never really noticed a difference in the interior noise when driving cars with headers on them. As far as interference goes if you get the correct one for your application it shouldn't

Olds heads are different design than Chevy head. Sparkplugs are above the exhaust ports and headers wouldn't be a problem with sparkplug wires like Chevy heads.

Hate headers on oldsmobiles, they always leak.
Invest in some re-pop W-30 cast iron manifolds.

Heck, my headers don't leak..a quality set will have thick flanges which prevent leaks.
