FR-12 for the a/c

Here is the link. Has anyone heard of this before, and is it a viable (and hopefully cost effective) option to converting to r-134a?

Interesting product, says it's an "enhanced R134" that performs like R-12, guess someone will have to test it I'd try it if I didn't have R-12 in stock.

Stick to R-12 or switch to R-134A. Just asking for trouble with these alternate refrigerants. There are many so called "drop in" refrigerants for R-12 but none of they are the same and will not work the same.

We used to use this product about 10 years ago. Good for repeat business! In agriculture products it leaked out within about a year. We switched to freeze twelve! Very reliable and only leaks out when you have a decent issue.

I have had this in my 70 for about 10 years now, still keeping the car decent on hot days.
