Hello all,

I purchased a new heater delete firewall from The Parts Place and it came with an extra mounting bracket attached to the torque boxes. Does anyone know what these are for?

It looks like a mounting bracket for an inner wheel house for some kind of A-body other than an Olds. Most of the repop panels are "universal" across the car lines.

 

Those Torque Boxes are multi use across all GM A Body models
I replaced my Drivers side one and just removed the unneeded bracket and the Cage Nut then installed on firewall
Original style Body Bushing Hardware was then used

 

Most of the repop A-body panels are only "universal" for Chevelles...
