Hi. I just bought the flowmaster super 10. “2.5”
i have “2” tubing. Will it fit or to big? Should I go ahead and swap all the tubing to fit? Or should I just stay the same size? And get all new? Thanks
i have a 78 delta 88. My exhaust pipe fell off from muffler. It’s all pretty ugly and old so I was going to swap anyways. And also can I put a adapter on the muffler?
I came across one on Amazon in the photos provided thanks in advance. And sorry for unnecessary questions lol. Thanks guys
Unless your already deaf, or just don’t care about the noise, don’t use those mufflers. They are LOUD!! Everything on the car will vibrate and resonate, if nothing rattles now, things will soon just from the exhaust vibration.
Within reason, you can’t go wrong with exhaust that’s too big. Unless you have a basically stock engine (I’m guessing yours is modified, not too many people put race mufflers on stock engines!) I can’t see any reason not to run 2.5 pipes. Not too big for a mild engine, but room to grow if power upgrades are made later on.
The reducer will work to put the FM on but the sound won't be a rumble. It'll be a BLAA-AA-AAT!!!😜 Up to you if ya wanna sound like a Mustang or a Carolina Squat truck.
Try something like a Walker DynoMax. Good power and a nice sound that won't make you hate driving the car.
And hey young'un- don't worry about asking questions. If someone busts your chops about questions, they've forgotten being young and not knowing much.
I had a sign on my work desk that said "the only stupid question is the one you don't ask".

Flowmaster’s new Super 10™ series mufflers are so aggressive that we can’t even recommend them for use on street driven vehicles. Best suited to racing applications
