I have new legendary door panels and new door weather strip installed. Question is do the door cards sit on top of the door weather strip at the top? If I do that the door window crank does not line up centered and needs to drop down further. It also doesn't line up with the bottom of the door and screw holes. Do you trim the door weather strip ends down so the panel sits flush with the metal? If I do this it lines up, but still seems like it would help hold down the weather strip up top? The knock outs on the legendary panels are exactly the same as my old panels, so I know they should line up. Weather strip is Metro

Feel under the top lip towards the outside edges there are metal protrusions (clips) that line up to indents or lips on the top edge of the metal part of the door. Line them up and give the panel a wack with your palm down at those locations and it snaps into place. Everything should line up from there.
interesting that the legendary panels do not have the raised edge under the door panel at the top that latches over those clips. It has them only on the end by the door lock, very strange. I had to trim down the weather strip toward the hinge side to get them to drop down and fit properly. Maybe they make them with them now, I don't know. These panels have been wrapped in my garage since 2009.
