Does anyone make a complete lock kit for a 65 442
Looking for a complete lock kit for 65 442. Ignition, glove box, console, doors, trunk. Also which keys work which locks? TIA Brandon
The 1935-1966 cars used only two blanks, the B10 octagonal blank and the B11 pear blank. With some exceptions, B10 is for the doors and ignition, B11 for the trunk and glovebox. Note that the actual blades of the B10 and B11 are the same - either blank will slide into any of the locks. You could, for example, have your trunk and glovebox coded to work with your ignition key. My 62 wagon came that way from the factory - there's only one key for everything.
Something like this? https://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Door-Tr...QAAOSwiZpfV1VT
Joe, i remember you saying in another thread that you knew some one that could re-key (with the original GM C code octagon shaped key) i just replaced my ignition key bezel with the aluminum reproduction one (i love it) and when i took the lock out i wrote the 4 digit number's down. Do all the key cylinders have a 4 digit number on them?
