Here it goes with decoding my v.i.n #'s. The #'s are: 3R47FAM438419 The # on the front of the engine just behind the water pump is 5577512B. C12 is on the top front of the tranny. The engine is 260 V8. Would any of these #'s tell me when and where the car , engine and tranny were built ? Any more #'s I should look for ? My husband and could put it up on the hoist and look. He's been busy decoding his two Z-28's. This car is from my mom. So I'd like to know all about it. Also any rear axle info ? Thank You Very much. Sue
