Crack or casting #5 webbing

1968 455 (F3) just tore it down yesterday and while I was inspecting I noticed what you see in the picture. I've never noticed it before on other 455's I've had.

Looks to me like a parting line. When the steel is poured in the mold and it flows into that area from two different directions. The area where the material meets is called a parting line and is not a crack.
