correct shift ball

Is this the correct shift ball for a '68 442? The one found in the glove box (had a hurst T handle on it), is a one piece. So, not sure.

According to my OPGI book. They list them as replacement shifter **** on the 442. I have never owned a four speed, so maybe someone here who has one will know better than me.

if it is a 68 4 speed console car, i think the ball would not have the shift pattern on it. the shift pattern was on the console.

The shift **** from ebay doesn't look right. At least the number 4 looks wrong.
